Does anyone know?


If it's a law in NY that an RN needs a year of med/surg experience before working in an ER/ED? I've searched the subject and seen the question asked before but no solid answers....

nope, my friend got a job in the ER at a hospital in brooklyn right after graduation.

no.. no such animal... i think it is recommended, but i know lots of new grads in the ER

I don't believe it is a law, but I've seen stranger laws...

I doubt its a law. It may be a requirement at some hospitals
