I just got back from the IAFN Scientific Assembly held in Chicago. Topics included pattern injury (and patterns of injury) recognition in victims of domestic violence, how to assess, evaluate, and care for specific violence-related injuries such as strangulation, and many others. Tracks included Death Investigation, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Pediatrics, General Forensics, Research, and Psych/Mental Health. It was a great!
