Hi everyone,

I have applied to the UofA Family DNP program in the fall 2014. Just looking to meet up with other people who have applied and are waiting to hear if they get in.

Hey! I also applied and waiting to see what happens. Do you know much about clinical placements? What's your background? Do you know what they mainly look for to get into the program?

From what I've read, the clinical placements is something we need to figure out on our own and get set up. I'm sure they will have some guidance on how/where to find the placement areas. (Hopefully) I'm a peds icu nurse for almost 11 years, what about you? Most of the stuff I've been reading about the program seems to be that they are pretty open to what they are looking for. Sounds like we will find out in March. Keep me posted if you hear anything and best of luck.

When you say U of A, I am assuming you mean University of Arkansas?

I would have loved to apply for this program since I went to college in AZ. I now live in FL so I am considered out of state for tuition purposes and it is just sooo expensive. I wonder why they charge out of state tuition for an online program? If it wasn't for that, I would go in a heartbeat.

I was interested in the BSN to DNP (FNP)
