Are there programs that offer RN-DNP

  1. 0
    Hey,
I was wondering if it's possible to go from an associates RN to a DNP in one program? Probably not, but thought i should ask. Also, if i manage to get into a NP program before the year 2015, but am still in the program past 2015 , could i just get my masters, or would i be required to become a DNP?

    Thanks!

...there are Entry level DNP programs for those with a prior bachelors (non-nursing) and who have completed the general pre-reqs....

yes you could be grandfathered in with the 2015 masters if you made it.

Try this link to search for RN to NP or DNP schools by state or specialty:

Very helpful if you are searching for distance learning, as well. (Check the box)

no you wouldn't be grandfathered in because its about taking the state board advanced RN test before 2015, not being in an MSN class before 2015

there are associates degree to DNP program but you have to have a bachelors degree from a non nursing degree ( kind of like a second degree nurse)
