Anyone have any thoughts on Eastern Kentucky University DNP program? I live in KY and prefer to do an online program. I am been researching and there are a lot of outstanding DNP online programs but a lot of them require you to be on campus a few times a year and that may be hard for me. Therefore I opted to stay locally. If anyone can give me advice on EKU DNP program, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Aloha!

I just read all of your posts and I am suppose to start in January of 2015. I got my BSN online and once I got the hang of it, it was fine. Yes I had to work hard at it to get A's but I just want to know that I won't be having any of these IT problems that I have been reading about. How are you doing so far?

Mahalo!

IT issues are going to occur. I had trouble connecting to one of my proctored finals and when I menrioned it to my two friends in class with me the said the same. It wasn't anything major but all of us were scared that we werent going to be able to take the final for a second.

The program is intense. You are going to teach yourself.

How do you like it? I am applying for Fall 2015, any information would be much appreciated :)

Specializes in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

I am finding that it is very much a self taught degree. Not much teaching. Anyone else feel this way??
