CNS and/or DNP

  1. 0 I'm right at my 2 year mark of working in Neuro/med-surg and I want to go for higher education. So I want to hear which you think is smarter to go for? I'd like to get my CNS (I don't want to prescribe) in some sort of adult-geri area.

There's a lot of hub-bub about getting a DNP vs NP, but does it matter for a CNS?
Should I get it over with and just go straight for the DNP?
Will going for my DNP now be a waste of time considering how little experience I have?
Would it be more worth my wild to go for a CNS and get a geri certificate? Or neuro? Or...

    Thanks a bunch!
