My application fee was waived. Maybe they're not doing that any longer, I don't know. I'll send you a PM with my admission advisor's information, but if you've already spoken with someone else, you might be assigned to that person. Good luck!

My admission advisor is Brendan. He was fantastic! I did have to pay the $60 application fee.

I don't know how I missed this thread earlier, but I've found it, so here goes! I started the Chamberlain BSN program in Sept 2008. I love it! So far, I've taken Transition, Assessment, English 135, Diversity, and an elective history course.

As others have stated, LOTS of papers to write, as well as participating in on line discussions.

My next class starts on 7/6. It's Math 092 and Math 114, in an 8 week semester. Has anybody completed this course? Let's just say that math was never my best subject, and the last time I took a math course the Beatles were still appearing together and the Vietnam Was was making headlines.

I, too, did not pay an application fee.

I believe you have to make 15 post before you can send pm's. Welcome to Allnurses!

I'm taking math 114 this session too. I started working on the homework already, I want to get through it as fast as I can. There is a lot of homework. I don't find math really hard just more of nuisance lol...I'd rather write papers than do math problems.

Thanks for all the input! I emailed my "unofficial" transcripts today and will see what they say. My whole thing is that I do not want to have to take a whole pile of classes over again. I have already taken statistics and I am NOT going to retake that class again! LOL. Hopefully it will be a smooth transition.

BTW - is there a particular reason why you guys are taking some of these GE courses through Chamberlain? I just assume that any GE classes needed through the local community college for cheap?

Have a good day!!

There is a minimum number of credits that must be taken through Chamberlain/DeVry -- 32 credits. That is the only reason I took any general ed stuff through Chamberlain!

No problem! And once you have 15 posts, you can use the PM system. I meant to tell you that when I sent you the PM, but I was short on time! Sorry about that.
