My husband told me to just press on and if the all financial aid doesn't come through we will just make up the difference between the total and the loans. I feel better, I'd certainly like the grant to come through but at least I know I can still attend regardless of the outcome. I'm still waiting to hear on the number of credits they accepted. I'm hoping to hear today that will allow me to decide what classes to take and when. Congrats to everyone that is starting in July!

I finished Econ today! Took my final exam. I won't get my grade until the 25th, though. Ugh. Then I'm off for the next 8-week session, and then back to it at the end of August. I'll be taking NR294 -- Health Assessment.
Looks like there are a couple of us taking classes. I am starting up in July for NR351 and SOCs They gave me generous credit from my past courses. got 82 credits. So i 'll have to take only 13 more courses. Would you be comfortable to share how many you obtained when you started about? Did you look for university of phoenix or places like that ? and what was better about chamberlian. ? Thanks for your time .

I only have to take 10 courses. They were very generous in accepting my credits.

I told her we were spreading her name around...but in a good way. She thinks I'm nuts. ha ha ha She usually replies "you're so funny". She rocks.

So I finally got my credits evaluated by Chamberlain and I only need to take 10 classes!! Yeah! They gave me credit for a nursing class-health assessment so I don't need to take that but they wouldn't give me credit for the college algebra and I need to take a placement test on Saturday to see if I can take college algebra or if I need to start lower. That is very odd since since I took beg algebra, intermediate algebra, and college algebra and got an A in all of them from the same school. So I'm doing the refresher course they offer today and tomorrow to brush up because I only want to have to take the 10 classes. I'm carrying the full course load of 17 credits a semester so they said it will take me two semesters to complete. I'm so excited!!

So I took the math placement exam this afternoon. It seemed incredibly easy. So hopefully I'll know on Monday where I placed. Hopefully I won't need to take any of the remedial math classes and can just jump right into my 10.

I finally got my classes set up. I scored 92% on their math assessment so I don't have to take any of the lower level/remedial math classes. Yeah!! So for Session A I'm taking Algebra for college students, Transitions, and Cultural diversity. For session B: I'm taking Statistics and Information systems for healthcare for a total of 17 credits for the semester.

Thumbs up Re: who else is in Chamberlain RN-BSN program currently
Wow Sue, you are definitely pressing on, good luck! In ref to the fafsa, did you call fafsa and find out why they keep kicking it back? With me, I found out I had not changed my name on my ssi card since getting married so it did not match.

I am doing the live orientation class tonight. I got 96 credits so only have to take 10 classes. I am excited!
