I rec'd a similar phone call months back, I just ignored them because I was so done with them . They won't get away with their scamming for long. But in the meantime we must continue to educate those who do not know about TCN. Not only are we helping them save thousands of dollars, we are also saving the headaches of failing tests because of lack of proper info...

This is disturbing to say the least.

What would happen if everyone closed their bank accounts that they auto withdraw from, and then counter sue for false information?

TCN would be hurting for sure.

I smell an eventual class action on this.

NurseAmber T,

Now that you have signed up with them it won't be a total waste of money, but don't just utilized their modules alone. Be sure that you look at the EC study guide and check if there is anything that wasn't covered in the TCN module. I did well enough with sociology and across lifespan using just TCN modules. I used both TCN and other study texts for Micro and all my other nursing courses. The one thing I can say that was good with TCN is, they did encourage me and got me started on my nursing degree. And don't forget, many people absolutely loved TCN because all the material is condensed. They just may not cover everything.

Good luck...

My understanding is that the contact information they have is for business purposes, not to call and harass people about their postings on an internet board. I think this is more than a little creepy and possibly illegal. I told the guy as much and said I would absolutely be posting the minute I hung up to let others know what happened. I'm going to have a chat with the BBB about this as well. So be forewarned, whether you decide to use them or not, if they have your personal information and you post on here about them they will probably use that information to call and talk to you about your postings. Creepy stalkers. Big brother is watching. Stay the heck away from these people!
How annoying. They are one big bully.

Please -- to anyone who wants to pass the ISU tests, I suggest you rent your textbooks at Chegg.com. They rent textbooks by the semester and it's only a small fraction of the cost of buying a book, and really study the books. It works folks.

And yes - I do have the TCN books so I have done a comparison.
I say bring it on.

I took and passed EC's Micro exam (Scored an A!) by using nothing more than a real good microbiology text. It's the one specified in the EC study guide. You can even RENT the textbook from Chegg.com I rented the book for 2 months (it's done by quarter or semester) and it's a fraction of the cost of a whole textbook.

Try it -- they have all kinds of topics. ANy subject you can imagine. Don't waste your money on study guides from publishing companies. Get your information from a real textbook. I aced the test just reading that one book plus the accompanying study guide. It can be done if you are willing to put in the time.
