Hello,

Is there anybody out there who is or has been through the online second degree BSN program through the University of Oklahoma health and science with San Diego state university or Glendale adventist? If so, do you have information you can share regarding the program?

I was wondering the same thing. I was reading the other thread, from what I gather, it is intense.

Hi there,

Ran into a woman in maroon scrubs with an Oklahoma University patch but she was in Burbank so I thought "HMMM, she must be in the Oklahoma Univ/Glendale Adventist program." I asked her, She was. She had taken most of her pre-req's ( the ones we are all trying to get - chem, micorbio, A&P, etc) she was about 1/2 way done with the program , I think she was the first or 2nd group to go through the program at Glendale Adventist. She seemed to like it. She said it was a lot of work but that it WAS do-able. She told me how often she was at the hospital and how often she was in classes BUT I can't remember. My concern is that you really cannot work SO, I guess you have to take an additional cost of living loan in addition to the tuition. Wow, that adds up BUT to the best of my knowledge it seems that if you sign on ad glendale Adventist there is a loan forgiveness type of deal where they pay your loan back. At least the tuition portion. That is what I was told by a woman I met with at The Glendale Program campus. But I called back and she was no longer employed with them........That made me a little nervous??? That could make it reasonable if you only had to pay back say 30,000 grand. I mean with making the money that you will be making when you finish and start working. I went to a sort of quick orientation but didnt really get it straight about all the funding exactly.

Anyways I hope this was helpful Sheila K
