Just wondering if anyone had any updates on admission decisions. Has anyone heard if the committee has met yet? I'm starting to get anxious...

I haven't heard anything but they did send out an e-mail today basically confirming the rumors that SDSU will most likely be offering an online accelerated BSN in both San Diego AND Glendale. They also said that Marian University in Indianapolis has an online BSN and a representative will be arriving here soon and will offer relocation scholarships in the amount of $4,000 for students interested in moving to Indianapolis for the program. At least there seem to be more options now for students who will not be accepted or for students who are not done with prereqs yet .

Thanks for the information Sun. I anxiously was awaiting some sort of news. Do you think it would be In State Tuition if San Diego was taking over? And did you get any confirmation of the prereqs? Just curious if they will change the needed prerequisites. I called and no one was answering the phone lines, it was met with a recording that told me to leave a message on their toll free line. So many questions... so scared.

It is nice that they have been seeking alternatives for those of us not accepted or waiting for another term. I really am hoping to be accepted into the Spring 2010 cohort, but if not I look forward to seeing what SDSU has to offer. The letter also implied that decisions will be made the week of Nov 16th!

I can't wait to find out!

From what I heard the committee meets on Monday! Letters will be mailed out the 3rd and 4th week of this month!
I called someone from OU to ask a question and no reply...emailed advisor here in SD and no reply...must be busy get things together!

You never know getting in could be a good or bad thing because what if SDSU program is better. They do not know about pre-reqs but will probably know end of this month.

A newbie here peeps and I love this site So anxious and nervous but I doubt I will be getting into Spring 2010 since I just finished taking 2 non-science pre-reqs through Barstow. I am happy that OU is working hard and helping us future students look into more options. I cannot wait to see the list for the SDSU pre-reqs and I am hoping that their process is similar to OU and not like CSU San Marcos. I am getting tired of taking pre-reqs already and just want to get my hands dirty! Here's me hoping the best for everyone

Hi SoCal,
The e-mail did not say if the prereq requirements will be similar or not. The only other thing it said is that SDSU will probably operate the program out of the same facility that is currently being used. It also said another e-mail will be sent out asap as soon as they know more info and I can post that too once I receive it.

karree2000,

I am assuming that the email was sent to all Spring 2010 applicants. The SDSU program is still in the works and the email stated that students will be contacted as soon they know more information on it. Hope this helps.
