I attend the University of Md..RN to BSN online program. I started this January. It is kind of expensive but i have learned a lot and i am still learning. I do enjoy the online experience, but sometimes i believe it is so much work and the RNs are treated no different than those who do not have thier RN degrees. Its like they expect you to take the NCLEX all over again and are preparng you for it..despite everything..i love the convenience of the online program..the only clinical component is community...you can also chose a clinical site close to where you live...i cant wait to be done.

I received my BSN through the Jacksonville U. out of Florida. It was a lot of work, but I am glad I did it. It did not mean alot of extra pay for me, but it was something I wanted to do and to prove to myself that I could. (I had been out of school a long time before I went back). Now I am working toward a certification in Holistic nursing - we just keep on learning.

Hi...
I spoke with someone from UOP yesterday. Yeah, he made it all sound so good, easy. I really felt like I was speaking to a "used car salesman" or something though...especially with him saying things like, "don't worry about the $$...I can get you all the financial aid you need."

I decided to do some research and found this website (among others):
http://uopsucks.com

Pretty intersting site. Anyone here had these bad experiences with UOP???

Is there anyone that's enrolled or know someone that's enrolled in the RN to BSN program at the University of South Alabama. I'm going into my second semester and I was wondering what the clinical experience would be like. What's expected? I know it can be done at my area hospital but would I be with a Nurse manager, supv or nurse preceptor. Just asking.... Thanks in advance.

Is there anyone who is familiar with either Indiana University or Rush
for an RN to BSN or RN to MSN?

I am looking for an RN to MSN online program and trying to consider
all of my options.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hi Fleeeba,
I am in the MSN with a concentration in education at the University of Phoenix. I completed my BSN with them in April of this year. It took me 23 months. The MSN is about 18 months. It is alot of work but doable. It is expensive but I work full time and have a husband and 6 children so the convenience of online classes is worth it. I would highly recommend UOP.

Question psu or drexel online rn to bsn
Any one have any experience with Penn State or Drexel's online RN to BSN? I got my RN from Excelsior College and I love online learning, but I dont want the reputation anymore of the "Online School" on my resume. I'm from Pennsylvania and both of these programs have Brick and Mortor Schools with them, so no one will know I went online. I just wanted to hear feedback.
