I am scheduled to take A and P I at edukan this fall. The course starts October 17 and there are still available seats.
It's an 8 week course, and I know it's going to be intense but hopefully it will be worth. I have 2 little ones and my husband is in Iraq now too.
I cannot offer you any advice about edukan, but I have read good things on this board about them.

I am going to pm you. I believe all of the tests are online.

We should take the course together, it would be fun to have each other to help one another out.

I just enrolled with Edukan for A&P I. I don't start until Spring semester 2 (February 13, 2005) because I just started classes at Axia College and I want to get a feel for the Axia/UoP learning model before I jump into a time and labor extensive course such A&P. Also, since I am getting financial aid for Axia I have to pay for the science course out of my pocket so it would be best to wait for the income tax return! LOL! I chose this particular course because it is using the books I already have from my A&P II course I took last year. Don't ask. Anyhow, if anyone taking this course would be kind enough to tell me what it is like, I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Default SJVC Online
Hi Everyone,

I wanted to give a plug to San Joaquin Valley College Online at http://www.sjvconline.edu

Their courses are 5 weeks long and some are more intense than others depending on the teacher. They are quite pricey!! But for the short amount of time you can complete one class in and the convenience, it may seem worth it to some. Their courses are very well organized and the teachers usually respond fairly quickly to you.

Let me know if you have any questions about the school. I have nothing to say but good things about it, except for the price!! If you enroll in one of their certificate/degree programs on line you can get financial aid and grants to help with the price.

Good luck,
Jen

University of Wyoming has one. It is listeds as a Pharmacy class though. If you go to the School of Nursing and look at the online program you will see it in the prerequisites.

Regarding sjvconline, are all the tests online or do you have to go to a testing center?? You stated that the class intensity varies by instructor, are you willing to share the names of some good a&p and Micro teachers? Oh,, and by pricey, just how pricey? I couldn't get that info on their website. Do I also understand correctly that you don't actually have to enroll into any of their programs and can just take the class you want without hassle? What about transcripts....I know it's alot of questions, but they interested me and its the weekend and couldn't get anyone to answer me at the school. You can PM if you wish. Thanx
