Wanted to let you know I am also searching for an online MSN program. I did check out Walden but would be weary of any school that is not fully accredited. I am uncertain if Walden has received accreditation as of this time. I have been basically checking into all MSN online degree programs-searching for the perfect program. I am leaning towards University of Phoenix right now. You should give them a call, the advisor spent over an hour on the phone with me discussing degree options, classes, costs, how the online class works, etc... It was very helpful. ALSO, if you sign up by the end of October they waive the application fee ($110) and first class book fee ($80).
P.S. hope this posts ok, my first post, I am new here

thanks, I have looked into UOP, it was just very expensive. Good luck to you. Not sure what I'm going to do.

I did the University of Phoenix MSN online program - the one I did was a concentration in management and leadership. I did it in one year - very intense but doable. I am now pursuing a post-MSN clinical nurse specialist in adult med-surg.

I'm looking at Drexel and Dusquene, and maybe Seton Hall. So far they have all been very receptive and offerred me the ability to come to the campus to do my clinical time (arranged by them just as it would be for an on campus student!)
My only concern is that none of the people seem to know hiring rates after completion. I've met a lot of staff nurses with masters, and I want to actually use mine for something other than wall decoration!!!

Hi!
I am too looking for a MSN program. Anyone know of any on line MSN-PhD programs for nursing?

What about MSN on line? Anything on Canyon College? Is it accredited? What exactly should one look for with respect to accreditation?
My friend is just starting Walden online.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

RN8,
I am currently a student at Walden, it is a very intense student-centered learning school. It takes about 20 hours each week and lots of reading and writing papers. I have enjoyed most of the courses, but some have been very stressfull. I graduate in September 2006. I am in nursing administration.
