online degrees?

I was just wondering if anybody on here has done their degree online or know of anyone who has?

What are these like? Are the job prospects just as good after graduation? Is it more difficult? I am looking to get a nursing degree but need to work my way through it and the thought of online degrees has crossed my mind but I do not know how good they are. I would appreciate any input,,, thanks!

A nursing license obtained with education from a distance program is no different than one obtained with a traditional program. Employers for the most part are interested in your license, not how you obtained it. You can read plenty about distance education, pros, cons, neutral, in the distance forum.

Online degrees are seen as legitimate degrees just as a traditional brick and mortar school would be. Many of us are returning to school to complete BSNs, and the typical route for doin this is via the internet. Good luck in your choice!

I looked a bit, nad all i have found are degrees if you already have a degree. I do nto have anything in nursing at all yet, would it still be possible for me to get the entire thing online?

No, it is not possible to start from scratch and do everything online. You must, as a minimum become an LPN/LVN at a traditional school before you can enter a distance LPN to RN program. There must be an initial hands-on, in person clinical experience somewhere.
