I think if you scored in the high 70's on the practice exams you will be just fine ( aka pass)! My highest score, i believe, was about 69 on the practice exam. I think i took a risk testing with that score, but i just wanted to get it over with! For Micro i dont want to test unless i have much better practice scores! EC Micro will not transfer to my area cc with a grade lower than a B ( Im trying to obtain my General Studies degree at the same time )

Good Luck and keep us posted!

I took my Lifespan Psychology exam this morning at Pearson and got a B! I had strong doubts while taking it, but I was glad it was 130 questions so they didn't count much each. First off-line exam under my belt, now on to Gerontology, Ethics, Communication and the dreaded A&P and Micro. I'm doing all my general eds before I start the nursing courses so I can just concentrate on those once I get there! Thanks for the good wishes...it worked! Glad it is over.

congrats! way to go! There's usually a wait period of about 6mths b4 you take the CPNE. you may want to save one Gen Ed course for that wait period so you dont get bored.

That's what I did. I was CPNE-eligible and still had Micro, my Lifespan CLEP, and my sociology CLEP remaining. I applied for CPNE in early November, did Micro later in November, did a CPNE workshop in December, did my two CLEPs in January, and studied for the remainder of my CPNE wait. I got my date in April, went to CPNE in June. It worked well for me!

can you do any nursing courses while you wait or do you have to do them before you schedule your clinicals?

Congrats on the lifespan psych. pass! You must have your nursing exams completed and be within 10 credits of any Gen. Eds. remaining. Best of Luck to you!!! Traci

I have the Lifespan Test at the end of this month and Anatomy next month. I am so tired here lately & am not in the mood to study. However I am glad that you are able to shine some light as to what is on the test. I am having a hard time staying interested and on topic with this subject.

I need some help. I'm finally starting excelsior. When I look at the study guides, I'm very confused on what book or books to get. So many seem to be listed. I'm not sure if I'm looking in the right place. Does every text have a study guide or something? I'm taking lifespan psych first...so which books do I need to prepare?
