New Site for CPNE takers

That's great, better me! But do NOT get excited too quickly - the sites can take awhile to get up and running. Just because they have permission to use whichever hospital does NOT mean they have CE's yet.

I know a few people on The EPN who are scheduled to go in the next few weeks. They are definetly scheduling people but I don't think anyone has gone yet that can tell you about their experience. Go on the EPN or call EC. Have you taken your last two test?

There is also a new site in Texas at Lubbock. I am scheduled on Feb 6,7,8. I have not heard of anyone else who has tested or is testing there. I guess I am in the first group...I don't know if that is good or bad.

I applied to Mpac orginally June 4th. Waited till Aug 1st and switched to NPAC and got a date immdiately. So I think you should get a date in about 3 months if you put yourself on the cancellation list. It will take you that long to prepare without killing yourself. Congratulations on your hard work! I know I saw on the EPN that they were trying to recruit people to go to that Queens site. That would be great for you since you don't live that far.

My application was accepted on Nov.3. I called everyday and on Jan 6 the scheduler told me they had a new site (Lubbock) and had a few dates in Feb if I wanted one, so I chose Feb 6-8. At first she said she had to go down the waiting list, then put me on hold (I said a short prayer) and came back and said her supervisor said since I called and I was ready give me a date. Truly prayer works
