My first job offer as a new grad...

by DD240

Hello everyone,

Finally I was offered a job today, even though it is per diem, I am extremely excited to start applying what I have studied the last 2 years with Excelsior. I would not have had this opportunity if I didn't already work in the hospital as a phlebotomist and had my prior experience as a medic. I had to make the decision to do this and lose my benefits with my full time position but with the new grads not able to get jobs anywhere without experience, that is just what I have to do. The possibility of it turning into a full time position in the future is there Keeping it positive!

Good luck to all who are hunting! It will happen!

Congrats!!! That is so awesome! And, you're right, keep on chuggin' away, that PRN will turn into full time before you know it! Either that, or a bigger better door will open! So happy for you!!!

Hey that is awesome, and I agree, at least with the PRN position you sucessfully have your "foot in the door" and hopefully it will become a full time position for ya.
