legit academic programmes?

by parfum

hi from a newbie!

are there actually legit pre-nursing courses online that nursing schools will accept for their bsn degrees? i was told that most online schools are for-profit and are not that academically respected by proper academic institutions, so they discouraged me from pursuing the research into appropriate online classes that would fulfill pre-nursing requirements.

thanks in advance for any comments.

I would recommend using a brick and mortar school that has an online program if you go with online. Many established, reputable schools have online programs. George Washington University and Drexel both have online NP programs and they have great reputations. If a school is known primarily for online degrees then I would give it some thought before I pursued it.
