Indiana State University BSN Thread for Current Students

Updated Jan 27, 2009 at 06:53 PM by Tweety

Moderator Note: This is a continuation of a previous thread that was very long and split by member request. This thread is primarily for current student discussion. There is another thread of FAQ: http://allnurses.com/distance-learni...ad-365878.html

We had to take micro, stats, math, biology, couple of humanities, etc, etc. Maybe she meant that's just the one specific to nursing, as in in addition to the rest of the gen eds? Anyway, good luck on both your applications!

How do I find out the course equivalency at my college will transfer to Indiana State? I am in michigan by the way, and Indiana State only does the equaivalency for courses in their own state

I did some of mine in Ohio, some in Virginia, and some in Maryland. I also had CLEP credit for several. ISU took all of them. Will they do a transcript evaluation for you?

The lady I spoke with at ISU was in a rush and said that she will send an email giving me all of the pre reqs I will need to take to get accepted, and other additional info. I will have to call tomorrow morning to see if they will do a transcript evaluation. But I haven't even finished all of my pre reqs to get accepted. I just need to know what courses I need to take at my college to apply at their school.

If you do go in person I think it will be so cool to hear what the professors are like in the classroom! My all time favorite is Dr. Frank. I had her for research class and we still talk on email sometimes. I think I have her again the last semester. Yea! I can't wait to meet her at graduation! Prof. O'Neal seems really nice too. I haven't actually had any that I didn't like although one of them seemed a little icy on the boards but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.

The L just means the lab for that class.
