Did you ever find an online physiology with lab ( 4 credits)??? I need this as my last pre-req and need to be done by June or I have to wait another year. I can only find anatomy and physiology combined which is a bummer because I already took anatomy and got an A. Anyone out there know of any self-paced physiology classes online? Preferably in-state California??

Muchos gracias!

I just did an internet search and didn't find anything on there that looked like it fit the bill.

If you are close to Santa Ana: Santa Ana College has Bio 249. You must attend a lab on campus. Look up the course web page under mansfield.

I looked up the Santa Ana web site from a link on my internet search and turned this up. Two courses are offered online both taught by the same instructor, Mansfield. The mandatory weekly lab sessions for anatomy are on Wednesday nights and the mandatory lab sessions for physiology are on Friday nights (or vice versa). Spring term starts on Feb. 9. I saw a statement on the web site that indicated it is easy to add the classes, just go to the first lab meeting. Check it out. If I wasn't so far from Santa Ana and working on Friday nights, I would sign up for these in a heartbeat. Anatomy is full everywhere else. Good luck.

Again, thank you so much! I am actually on the central coast of California, north of Santa Barbara and I am still considering taking the class and just suffering through the weekly drive. I have pretty much given up on all online ( lab too) at least in-state.

I am closer to Santa Ana than you are. I just don't like the idea of falling short each term to sign up for these classes. I will probably be taking at least one of these classes at SA. I think one night a week for lab is not too bad. I guess just leave early enough and take the freeways all the way there. Worth it to get the courses done.

West Hills Community College in Lemoore offers a completely online Physiology class the labs are virtual. Even if you attend the in-classroom setting they do their labs virtually. You can submit your application for admission and register for your online class all in the same day. They have full semester courses as well as short term. www.westhillscollege.com
