I used my old nursing text books from LVN school. I did buy the recommended skills text for the CPNE and I found the 2 recommended text books for Nursing Exam 7 on Ebay for $10 each. I also bought the recommended text book and work book for Life Span on amazon used for less than $20 for both.

Did you have to take any core classes or just the nursing classes? I am aiming to be finished by the end of next year and I have to take all my core classes as well.

I had all pre req's done except for a humanities and sociology which I took CLEP's at my cc, much cheaper than thru excelsior. Then I took info literacy while I was waiting for my grad date- I passed CPNE the beginning of August but my grad date wasn't until the beginning of October. I took all the nursing exams in just under 3 months.

How long did you study between exams and how long did it take you to complete all of the nursing courses? This question is also open to others.

I took a nursing exam about every 2-3 weeks and twice I scheduled 2 exams in one day, so it took around 3 months. I found the practice exams to be invaluable.

TittyTatRN, did you work during this 3 month time frame? And why do you not think that the practice exams were helpful?

Thanks in advance
