I DO know what you mean. I even wrote the Secretary of State's office and all they did was forward my letter to Sandy Bond. I start orientation at my N. Carolina job tomorrow and I'm happy with that, but I still feel like I've been slighted. I passed my boards for Minnesota 3 days BEFORE the GBON announced that EC grads could now test for Georgia. There should be provisions for people in my situation.
Even if these preceptorships existed, I wouldn't do it. I did the book work, passed the clinical, and passed the National licensing exam. I've worked as an LPN for over two years and I hold an RN license in two states...and still somehow I'm not good enough to be an RN in Georgia?
