Excelsior to BSN?

by Jmas7

If I get my AAS from Excelsior, would I be able to start an RN to BSN from a traditional school? I always intended to start on my BSN online through UNC after getting my AAS, is this possible if I get the degree from Excelsior?

Yep. Totally possible. However, if you did your A&P and/or Micro through EC (i.e., without labs), you might have to repeat them. Check here: http://nursing.unc.edu/current/rn-bsn/

I already have Micro (as long as its a 3 credit hour and not a 4 credit hour one) and A&P (two different versions of it, one was 5 credit hours and the other was 4) from an NC Community College so I'm square on that! What are the Gen.Ed classes needed for Excelsior?
