Excelsior microbiology-lisa arends


Hi all,i just wonna say i took Excelsior's microbiology today for the first time and got an A.i want to say Lisa Arends notes did it .i read her notes all the way and used the recommended book afew times that i needed to clarify ,but her notes are great,thanks lisa,nice job.this is the second A i got from reading her notes.the exam was hard in a way but doable if you study the stuff in the content guide.

i bout her notes from ebay,just type in excelsior college, lisa arends and you will find plenty of her cds.they are worth it ,i bought the micro cd for 8 dollars.wish i knew before i bought the books.i can tell you i only opened my book about three times to clarify not and also used the internet for other enquiries.i hope you like them as much as i did,i am using her notes now for anatomy and NC1 AND 2.GOOD LUCK

Hi, I am an LVN considering Excelsior college and would love to hear from anyone who goes there. My friend who is an RN does not think I will get sufficient clinical time from thier program. Any comment would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You don't get clinical time -- that is why the program is for people who are already healthcare providers. There is an intense, stressful, 2.5-day clinical exam for students at the end of the program -- the Clinical Performance in Nursing Exam (CPNE) -- and students get three attempts to pass it.

Yes, NLNAC accredited. Check your state BON to make sure they recognize EC grads, too. Some states have issues:

yes Excelsior is fully acredited in most states but as Lunah said check your state.it is in ohio
