Graduated October 2007, worked in EMS for 7 years prior, I have worked in the emergency department of a level I trauma center since January 2007. I'm a trauma nurse specialist. I am working on my BSN online through Indiana Wesleyan University, hope to graduate 2010 then obtain my Emergency Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Congratulations to everyone else who graduated from "that online school".

Graduate ADN in 2004. Worked in CTICU shortly and for a while on a tele floor. Presently working in the OR at a Level I trauma center. I just finished my OR orientation. Currently in ANP school.

Excelsior was the best career move that I ever made!! I could never do it any other way.

I'll throw mine in here, since I'm following you around on threads today, BBFRN!

EC ASN 08/2008
Working in an ED!

I'm looking forward to updating this thread with BSN in the next few years. First I have to convince EC I actually HAVE had statistics ... they did an unofficial eval and didn't give me credit for it ... I had it in 1991.

We're just hanging out in the DL forum together today: chuckle

I have no doubt that you'll be updating with a BSN in the future, and probably go beyond that, because you're my cyber-sista.

I might as well list my name here too.... I graduated from Excelsior in March 2008 after 11 years as an LPN. Finished the program in 12 months. I am planning to enroll in the Chamberlain College of Nursing next month for my BSN since I can finish there in two semesters. I work in a Psych clinic in a VA which is where I wanted to be!

Yep; Bonnie R here. Wasn't going to do it, but it's only 2 semesters to the BSN. Maybe even FNP. I didn't think that was even possible, but looking at some other people's credentials here....WOW! I guess you can go great places with an Excelsior degree!

Good luck to you as well! Be sure to keep in touch!
