EC student applicant to georgia

by Suzanneyoulike Premium Member

Hello. I overnighted my application for licensure by endorsement last week and the GBON website doesn't even have my application posted as being "pending". I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with this. My application packet was complete and I meet the licensing guidlines in the latest bill.

Should I not worry? Can someone who's been through this give me a little advice? How long did it take you to get approved?

I wish you luck but if they are anything like Texas you will see the New Year ring in before pending on the GBON site....

LOL That is soooo funny but very true. The board meets next week for 3 days so it may be posted then. It will take a while to get approved. More bad news is that the board is off in August, so you will have to wait till September. Good luck. Heck, I have to complete 500 hours before I can get a my license!!

My application took about 5 weeks to go through approval. I too was worried about when the board was meeting as I had been told that it would have to go before the BON for review.......that wasn't the case, It doesn't have to go through full board review it just takes a little longer to proccess.

Did you have to call and check on the progress of your application or did you just check it online?

It took several days for my aplication to be posted to the website. The only thing that showed as complete was the payment up until the day I was licensed! I did call on several occasions and it really depends on who answers the call as to how helpfull they are.
