I enrolled in August but kind of dinked around for my first exam. I'm finally getting ready to take my 3rd, Transitions, next week, but I think if I'd really sit down and focus, I'd be able to knock these tests out in 2-3 weeks each. Have you guys been on the EPN? There's a little motivation there too....we can get this done if we stick to it!

Excelsior's Electronic Peer Network. Go here: https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_...cussion_Boards -- you will probably have to log in. Then click on "Nursing Discussion Boards," and go from there.

I honestly don't think they advertise it well. I never even knew about or visited the darn thing until I was prepping for the CPNE! LOL. When your CPNE prep time comes, I recommend hanging out on the CPNE board -- being able to "study" there with my peers was great, and I learned so much. There is some drama, but for the most part, I loved the EPN.

Any suggestions on which test to take next? I was thinking I would just go down the list maybe...
Well I took Health Safety first and Health Differences second, but you probably don't have to take that one (if you're an LPN). My next one will be reproductive health and then I don't know if I will do chronicity or the LS's. I scheduled the next one for Nov 20th so I better get cooking. Maybe I'll have 6 done before Christmas

As for the EPN, I don't really find there is tht much going on there. Maybe for the first few tests it's quiet? Or am I in the wrong area?? I usually go into the group for the test which I am taking.

I am scheduled to take the Health Safety Exam on Monday. I am very nervous about taking the exam. I do not want to fail. I took the first practice exam last week and made a 82, but I dont want to take the second practice exam until maybe Saturday or Sunday. I didnt study before the first one and I found it to be refreshing how much information I remembered from my traditional first semester nursing course. I hope to take the practice exams for each exam after this and I plan to hopefully test every 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. I have known about this program for years now and I cringe at myself everytime I think of how much I procrastinated. I think it is definitely important to motivate ourselves and each other.
