does anyone know an online college that has financial aid for LPN to RN

Excelsior College is legit (and accepted in many states -- see https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_...d_Requirements for exceptions and info), but does not offer financial aid. However, they do have payment plans, and as long as you skip the middlemen publishing companies like The College Network, it's not that expensive, relatively speaking. Just food for thought.

Also Indiana State University LPN-BSN is legit. I don't know anyone who has graduated yet but there are some on here that are taking classes on line and doing clinical. Its take long to complete and its more expensive. They probably do financial aid because its a state university.

I graduated from Excelsior and I am working as a RN in a hospital so they are very legit. I charged most of it on a credit card and paying it off. Some people have gotten scholarships to help with some of the expenses.

I have found Excelsior's program to be pretty affordable on the payment plan. I was pretty worried about how I would swing it, but they are pretty helpful. The only downside is because of the structure of the program, Title IV funding (federal loans/grants) are unavailable. So, that said, ISU also has a great program that does accept Title IV. It will take you a little longer to graduate, but when you do, you will also be a BSN, not just an ADN. Good luck, whatever route you choose!

Excelsior offers scholarships but of course you can't count on being selected for any of these.
