can you set up your own clinical instruction?

I still have some reservations about Excelsior, especially since the money will have to come out of my own pocket. I see there are a few people that had trouble getting jobs due to the fact that there are no clinical rotations during the course. Has anyone ever sought out extra clinical instruction to help prepare for the CPNE?

Supervisors might allow you to practice at work within the constraints of your patient assignment, but as far as a clinical practice situation, no facility is going to go along with this. It it were so, most EC students would be doing this already. You practice at home on your homemade dummy patient and your family members. Good luck.
