? about LVN to ADN at Deaconess college

by txspadequeenRN Platinum Member

Hello,

I am looking at Deaconess college of nursing ,but have a question. How often to LVN to ADN nursing students have to visit the campus. I know generic students have to visit every semester, but is it different for LVN's? I live way to far to go every semester. I just got off the phone with advisment , and enrollment goes through mid Nov. Thank you in advance..

Denise

Piggy Bank As far as I know...
The LPN to RN program at Deaconess is almost identical to the second year of the regular ASN program. This means that you would have to travel to St Louis at least three times...once per clinical semester.

I noticed you were in Texas...so I was wondering if you have considered the Del Mar's program? If I was a Texas resident I would be doing it. From my understanding it is an almost identical program to Deaconess without the travel.

I have looked into it ,but they do not have a LVN to Rn program. I could do the traditional program I just did not want to waste a year of hard work. Thank you, this answers my question!!!
