Night Home Hemodialysis Shown To Be As Good As Transplant In Treating Kidney Failure

by NDXUFan

Thanks for the reference. What a good study. Perhaps now FMC and Davita will weigh in on this option as well as Medicare of course.

Thumbs up Re: Night Home Hemodialysis Shown To Be As Good As Transplant In Treating Kidney Fail
Interesting article. More dialysis, better pt outcomes. FMC is evolving into nocturnal treatments in Tennessee. Cool option for nurses who want to work night shift..

Davita is doing nocturnal in my area but I would still prefer to see much more home hemo available to patients whom are able to do so. There is no home hemo in my area available and there are such a good number of patients I deal with who would benefit due to the ability to have more say and more independance related to thier own treatments. Hmm maybe companies wont make as much $$ if people arent running into centers when and if more home hemo is available?
