Help, Re: Epo or Aranesp administration

an open question to all chronic nurses. Has anyone ever had a Epogen or Aranesp protocol that called for using several syringes to administer one dose of medication?
Also how does your protocol utilize the overfill in the vials?

I have had to use more than one syringe before (the most was four) , especially if you have a pt on a high dose. Our clinic software automatically broke it down for us on which vial to use (S4, S2, etc.).
Our company also accounted for the overfill in the vials (ex. S3 was 3300 units) anyway, we really didn't waste any including the overfill.
