We recently started using new dialysis machines, Fresenius 2008T and when we started doing access flow measurements for our patients with AVF's and grafts, there's been several discussions as to what the Qb should be during access flow reading.
The machine's manual states Qb should be at 200mL/min, but some colleagues prefer to have it run on the patient's prescribed Qb while the machine is on access flow reading.
I follow the machine's manual, but other colleagues just don't.
How about you guys? Any input will be highly appreciated.
