First off, I am old. I don't think it is called IDDM any more, probably not called DKA?
I was watching a TV murder mystery and a woman died (was murdered) because she couldn't access her insulin for one morning!
Of course I know that is ridiculous but I got to wondering if an adult is a brittle, from childhood, IDDM, how long would it take for DKA to the point of death to develop if they couldn't get any insulin?
Assuming they still had access to food and water.
