help with final year project

hi all,
i am required to do a focused literature review for my final year project. i would really like to do it on some aspect of diabetes care. the trouble is im having difficulty trying to focus on a particular aspect of care. i would really appreciate some ideas or suggestions form experienced diabetic nurses,

overeating - it is EASY to do, harder to control, people deny they do it, people are not aware of what a "portion" really is, there are hidden fats/surgars in foods

Non-compliance - you could pull in literature from other disease processes. Chronic dz - loss (of former lifestyle) creates stages of physical loss (denial, bargaining, anger, despair, acceptance?) so what is the relationship to physical loss and chronic dz?

which type?
care for type 1 is much different than type 2
care of growing child also different than adult with type 1.

You picked a great topic to write about. Have you thought about the importance of diabetic foot care? Periphreal vascular disease and neuropathy etc... There is tonnes of literature on the topic
