blood sugar level

hello everyone!!
I took a random blood sugar testing and the result came out to be 126.( wasnt fasting and I took the test after I ate breakfast)
Is this normal? My family has no history of diabetes and my urine test shows negative for urine glucose.
My doctor said 126 is a little high and he said I might have diabetes. He suggested me to do a fasting.

I'm sorry but we can't give medical advice. I would follow your physician's advice. Good luck and take care.
