General Questions

Are there any roles for FNPs in MR/DD nursing?

And for any MR/DD nurses, what kinds of facilities do you work in?

Sorry, I'm new to this. Having a little sister with DS, and beginning a second degree BSN in a month... I find this field quite interesting!

Default Re: General Questions
Good question. Sorry I do not have answer for you. I work in an ICF/MR setting. Each state seems to have a different type of system so you may wish to check with the state MRDD dept. and see what may be out there. Congrats and good luck.
