Nursing Degree Advice

Okay, I'm twenty years old and have three little boys (ages: 4, 2, & 1). I want to get a career in nursing, but I want to start at the bottom and work as some form of a nurse while I school for the next degree from the bottom in the pecking order. Where do I start and does anyone know of good online schools I could use to get started? Until I actually begin working I have to be able to be home majority of the time to watch my kids.
