Looking for a job

i am a lpn of 6 years and have recently lost my job at the hospital i was working at. so since being an lpn it has been difficult to find work in the local hospitals as they usually only hire rn's. i have posted my resume on the internet has well as to some offices. also have applied to a few nursing homes. i started working when i graduated right away in the hospital. i do have experience in doctor's offices as i worked as a medical assistant. i will be starting school for my rn in about 3 weeks. if anyone has any suggestions on where else to look for work or apply please let me know. thanks...
