NLN Exam

by fran314

Hope somebody can help me. This is my 2nd semester at DTCC. I have a long way to go to become a RN. I don't have many classes done, but want to study & take NLN to get on the list. Is it really hard? Do you think it is possible to pass without many classes under my belt? Thanks everyone.

Definitely possible to pass. I had a study guide for the exam and hardly used it and passed pretty easily. Focus on English, Math and Science basically. Pick up a study guide at the bookstore and set a date to take the test! Get it over with

I guessed on so many questions and still passed with a high score so keep an open mind! Which DTCC do you attend? I went to Owens.

I just took the NLN exam and passed.......no need to be scared.
The book for the NLN that I used is Review for RN Pre-Entrance Exam, 2nd edition, edited by Mary E. McDonald.......you may purchase the book from Barnes & Nobles or you could visit www.jbpub.com.
Make sure you get familiar with the vocabulary, there is a lot of reading, time is of the essence, therefore you must work efficiently......good luck.
