Sorry, if this has been posted before, but I need some help/advice on getting an ICU interview. I am applying, but I am not getting called. I work in a large tertiary care center/trauma center/transplant center in Pennsylvania. My credentials include RN for 7 years (half way done with RN - BSN Program) & 12 years of pre-hospital experience. My nursing experience includes orthopedic, general surgery, angiograms, biopsies (liver/kidney), and outpatient transplant center (single organ to multi-visceral).
Do I need more on my resume (BSN, MSN, etc) or do I have to know somebody in the ICU. Thank you for your honest opinions.
