by brizzle1 Jan 8I just started in the MICU and it was my third day off orientation - I recieved a post-code and after starting multiple pressors I got a verbal to start Propofol if needed. Next thing you know I'm starting it but forgot to scan it and put it in the lockbox- didnt realize until the next day! Feel so guilty ! Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else???

Seriously though, what is a lock box? We go through so much propofol I know for a fact people sometimes forget to scan it without consequences. Fentanyl or versed, though, would be a different story.
