I have a question about entry level RN jobs

Hello!

A lot of people tell me that Critical Care units are tough for entry-level RNs to get into. I'm a 1st year nursing student, and I'm simply curious if this is the reality or not. I have an interest in going into critical care, but if I graduate with an associate's degree, is it realistic for me to expect a job in a Critical Care unit? Thanks for the help!
