First Nursing Job EVER and in ICU

  1. 0 Hello everyone! I just passed my boards on July 24th, and interviewed last week. I just accepted my first position as a full time position in the ICU. I'm terrified.. But super excited at the same time. It's an honor to be selected for an ICU position. So my question is... HELP! I need some pointers.. Do you have any recommendations in books, etc? Or any advice in general. I can't wait to learn and have already ordered an IV medication book, a quick reference critical care book and an introduction to critical care book. All had great reviews so I'm hoping they will help.

Well.. Please just let me know of any advice you think is necessary! thank you!
