Have a client asking to go to the hospital. I work in a nursing home. It's not a emergency but he is asking to be taken to a different city. If I call 911 they will take him to the nearest hosp. And he refuses to go to our local hosp. What should I do? I don't want to send him to our local
One against his will. He is hard of hearing so its very difficult to communicate with him. He has stomach ache and heart burn. This is very common for him. But it is not usual for him to ask for hospital care.

Do you have a patient transport ambulance? We do in Australia. It's for non-emergency transport that still requires some form of medical care/watching/paramedic. The wait times can be extensive however.
