When you get orders from sick line or physician sick line do you fax them out during the day or do you wait until the end of the day?

I don't deal with this but believe fax as you go, is a better way to get it done. If you wait to the last minute for anything it might turn out that the fax goes down and then stuff gets delayed.

We don't fax as we go where I work. We are just simply too busy! Med orders are faxed to our pharmacy typically at the end of day shift and all orders / mars are processed. We have an out of town pharmacy that air mails them to us...usually takes 1 to 2 days. Ofcourse if it a critical med we can't wait for and we don't stock it then we have a local pharmacy we get a 5 day supply from to tide us over. It's a lot easier to send one big fax than faxing each individual order as you go.
