looking to begin corrections career in SF!

I am currently an Indiana resident. I graduated in May with my BSN, and spent 6 months training in the coronary/medical ICU and then secured a position there. I have been here for 6 months now, but my family wishes to relocate to San Francisco or surrounding areas. Every since I was a student I was very passionate about public health (Dr. Paul Farmer being one of my personal heros) and would like to pursue a career in corrections. I have had some incredible experience here in the ICU, but my heart calls me elsewhere. I am looking for corrections connections in the San Francisco area who can direct me to some additional contacts. Of course I will complete an application, but I have quickly learned having someone to touch base with is very helpful.

I appreciate any advice/direction/help!
