FL DoC RN jobs question.

I have been looking at the FL website with the job listings for DoC nursing jobs. I've seen the starting pay for RN's at around $16 an hour. Is this accurate or is that a negotiable starting wage. I am planning to look towards getting at least part time employment after a year in the emergency department as an RN (and 20 years as a paramedic in the field). While I understand Florida Retirement System is very nice, I don't see working for $16/hr.
