Just thought I would start a new thread for the current application cycle. Questions... stats... rumors... etc!

My question is... for those applying this cycle, how did you do on the TEAS V? Since this is the first year they are using this test, it would be nice to see how everyone is doing.

(Please don't post TEAS 3 or TEAS 4 results, as the scores are NOT comparable with the TEAS V.)

nursewannabe - I found the whole online status thing to be confusing. Before I cleared up my name change in the middle of February, all that was listed on my status page were the criteria that I needed to meet, plus that the NGPA wouldn't be evaluated. This led me to believe I had everything in,as it did not state I was missing information (and I got an email saying the only thing they needed were vax records). Three days after I emailed CCC to let them know I was concerned about my name change,all the schools I attended were listed, as well as the date they received the transcript. I find it kind of confusing, because it doesn't actively say "you are missing items". I purposely started the process in November because I was in belief that the Commnet status would change prior to the Feb.1st deadline in order to make you aware of anything that was missing. I tried calling a million times before the deadline to be sure I was 100% certain everything was in to no avail. I think they are still working out the kinks with this process, and I hope that it gets sorted out for next year, but it should really tell you as you go along what you're missing, so no one has to be in the position you're in now. I know it feels scary, but Im sure they've sorted it out. In any case, thats just my opinion about the online system. It also kind of stinks that they take it down when I want it the MOST! I still check 2-3x a day. Ayeayeaye.

classes and clinicals were finished by the week of december 16th last fall.

It said that clinicals were 7 to 11 but I thought in the forum I read from last year the clinicals were either 7 to 130 or 3 to 930.

Hi Everyone!

New to this discussion board and I was just wondering if anyone else has had something weird appear on their bannerweb page...underneath the student records section in red font it says "apply for the nursing program"...just like the original link when it was first available (but eventually taken down)...and now it's back?? And it doesn't prompt another link to open...it's just there. I've applied to TRCC Nursing Program and everything was met, no ineligibility letter or any other administrative issues and, like everyone else, am waiting anxiously for the letters to go out. This is freaking me out seeing this on my "banner self service" page and it just appeared, I want to say, earlier in the week and hasn't gone away...thoughts anyone?

ok so i was online trying to print my tax forms. I clicked "student records," then "tax notification," then searched "2011" towards the top of the page and clicked "go." The page shows a link for "nursing application and required items status." I clicked it and it told me that I am waitlisted and that my college will send me an official latter in the mail regarding my waitlist number. FREAKING OUT NOW. Please help! Does this work for anyone else?

Weird! Why does that work for me and not you? I wish it didnt work for me. I called my boyfriend in tears, and he told me that its not the official word and that maybe everyone else's says the same thing. Who knows. If anyone else has luck doing this please post!!

i know last year some pp knew they were waitlisted (ME!) while others saw nothing.... but it seems odd some can click on the link and some cant! in any case i will keep you posted. i would not worry (impossible i know) until you get the letter
